The African Energy Commission (AFREC) has launched a continental training program in Nairobi to help African nations turn renewable energy policies into bankable and buildable projects. The initiative, supported by SIDA and Strathmore University, provides officials with hands-on training across the entire project lifecycle, from planning to financing. With plans to expand to Egypt and online, the program aims to build critical local capacity, foster peer-to-peer learning, and accelerate Africa's transition to sustainable energy by converting promising ideas into operational power plants....
