Israel has granted final approval for a historic $37 billion deal to significantly expand natural gas exports to Egypt, a move Prime Minister Netanyahu hailed as the country's largest gas agreement. The deal, involving energy companies like Chevron, is expected to generate about $18 billion in state revenue and strengthen Israel's position as a regional energy power. Netanyahu stated the agreement would also contribute to regional stability and include safeguards to maintain affordable energy prices domestically.
